How many times have you told your children to do something, and they haven't listened to you? Or how many times did your parents tell you to do something and you didn't listen to them? but then someone else says the same thing, and the child listens and does it. Why is that? Because we often don’t listen to the ones closest to us. that includes children listening to their parents (and vice versa), and also spouses listening to one another.
